Extend Your Shelf Life – Exercise and Nutrition
Nutrition
Nutrition and exercise work in balance to maintain a healthy body. There is truth in the saying ‘You are what you eat…and drink’! I am a firm believer that the foods we eat have a major impact on our overall health – physical, emotional and mental. Not only will our bodies work better with good nutrition, but our brains will too! I prefer organic for myself and my family. Why? Because organic foods, especially produce, contain fewer pesticides and chemicals, which are widely used in conventionally-grown foods, they have more beneficial nutrients without the added toxins. Also, organic food is fresher because it doesn’t contain preservatives that make it last longer. For me and my family eating organic is not a trend, it’s returning to tradition!

Exercise need not be painful or extreme to be effective. Regular periods of moderate exercise several times a week can be very beneficial. The hardest part of exercise is just getting started!
